Tracy Morgan's Vivid Encounter with His Father During Coma

According to Oprah, anyone who has been to the other side has the greatest story to tell. Comedian Tracy Morgan's own near-death experience is one he'll never forget. In this emotional conversation, Tracy opens up about what it was like to knock on death's door and come back alive. In 2014, a tractor-trailer struck Tracy's tour bus on the New Jersey Turnpike, causing a devastating multi-car crash that left Tracy with a life-threatening brain injury. Tracy spent nearly two weeks in a medically induced coma, during which he says he went to the other side, and was reunited with his late father, Jimmy Morgan, who told him "I'm not ready for you, son." "And I started crying so hard," Tracy says. "I was crying hard. Probably harder than I cried at his funeral. And I just kept saying, 'Dad.' Because he was my best friend in life." In the above video, Tracy recounts the vivid encounter with his father in the afterlife that left him in tears.
