Utah Church Going Public With Ayahuasca Ceremonies
Americans used to have to travel a great distance for an ayahuasca experience, but now they don’t have to go that far. Hummingbird Church in Utah has hosted ceremonies and retreats with ayahuasca for years, but only recently went public and they’re hoping the First Amendment will protect them. The psychoactive brew, made by combining two Amazonian plants, is known to cause hours-long hallucinations. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
