Watch: Clever Meerkats Learn How To Sit Still For X-Rays
Clever meerkats at an Australian zoo learned how to "voluntarily" sit for x-rays. Keepers were impressed as the animals sat still atop a custom-designed machine to have x-rays taken as they ate a treat in their habitat. The Werribee Open Range Zoo said the achievement demonstrates "there’s more to the inquisitive creatures than what meets the eye”
