Jimmy Carter becomes oldest living US president

Jimmy Carter, the nation’s 39th commander in chief, on Thursday became the oldest living former U.S. president. At 94 years and 172 days old, Carter surpassed the late George H.W. Bush, who died in November at 94 years and 171 days old.
