Could Kamala Harris be the next justice of the US Supreme Court? Speculation is running rampant today as President Biden mulls his choice to replace Justice Stephen Breyer. Biden has pledged to nominate a Black woman to the nation’s top bench, and putting his vice president forward could clear the way for a new running mate in 2024. Picking Harris could set up a wild confirmation vote, in which the vice president could potentially cast the deciding vote if senators delivered a 50-50 split.
