Crews Defend Buildings From Fire in North LA Suburb
Firefighters in California battled several blazes on Tuesday, January 19, as high winds fanned flames across the state. Photographer Landon Jensen captured video showing firefighters tackling a brush fire and smaller spot fires in the Los Angeles suburb of Sylmar as embers fly near the Foothill Freeway. The Los Angeles County Fire Department said they stopped the blaze from spreading that evening. No injuries were reported and nearby buildings were defended against damage.
