Dr. Fauci: I was unaware of the monkeypox stigma
Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, says he was “unaware” of the stigma that is causing some lab technicians to refuse drawing blood from people suspected of having monkeypox. Dr. Fauci tells CNN’s Erica Hill that the concerns of David Harvey, executive director of the National Coalition of STD Directors, are “absolutely justified.”
