Highland Park 4th of July Parade Shooting Leaves 6 Dead, 30 Injured
At least six people are dead and 30 people are hurt after a Fourth of July parade in Illinois turned into the scene of a mass shooting. Authorities in Highland Park, a suburb of Chicago, say a gunman opened fire on an Independence Day Parade from a nearby rooftop. The victims reportedly range in age from 8 to 85. Law endorsement identified Robert "Bobby" Crimo III as a person of interest. He was taken into custody about five miles from the shooting scene.
