Man Who Killed Nicki Minaj's Dad in Hit-and-Run Sentenced to 1 Year in Prison
The man who pleaded guilty in the hit-and-run incident that caused the death of rapper Nicki Minaj’s father was sentenced to a year behind bars and the victim’s widow is not pleased. The prosecutor's office in Nassau County, New York says Charles Polevich, 72, will also have to pay a $5,000 fine and his drivers license will be suspended for six months. The February 2021 incident claimed the life of Robert Maraj, 64, an electrician from Mineola. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
