Officers Rescue Boy Who Fell in Pond Trying to Get His Football
Several officers from the Aurora Illinois Police Department are heroes after saving a 9-year-old boy from drowning. They also saved a woman who went into the water to save that boy. The child attempted to retrieve his football from a frozen section of a pond and fell through the ice. Some officers jumped in the water, and others used rope to help recover the two people.
