Police Congregate at Oxford Circus Climate Protest Camp

Police formed a heavy presence on the afternoon of Saturday, April 20, at London’s Oxford Circus where Extinction Rebellion climate-action demonstrators were camped out for a sixth day of demonstrations. Police said a total of 715 people had been arrested during days of protests in the city, Sky News reported. On Friday, they removed a pink boat from the area, which had become a center point of the protests. Credit: Ian Baring via Storyful
