BLM Organizers Spread Their Message Around the World
Dec.04 -- Black Lives Matter was started in 2013 by Patrisse Cullors, Alicia Garza, and Opal Tometi. BLM has helped organize protests against police brutality, culminating on June 6 when more than a half-million people gathered in 500-plus locations around the world. The Bloomberg 50 is a look at the people in business, entertainment, finance, politics, and science and technology whose accomplishments merit recognition.
