Shanquella Robinson: What To Know As FBI Investigates American Woman’s Death In Mexico

The FBI is investigating the murder of Shanquella Robinson in Mexico. The 25-year-old woman from North Carolina traveled on Oct. 28 with 6 university friends to San José del Cabo, where she was found unconscious in the living room of a rental residence. Her autopsy lists the cause of death as"severe spinal cord injury and atlas luxation”. 5 days later, a video appeared online of Robinson being beaten up. Mexican authorities have contradicted the autopsy and the timing of her death. An arrest warrant has been issued for the crime of femicide for an alleged perpetrator who has not been named.
