Caldor Fire at 139,500 Acres as Crews Continue Fight for Containment
Firefighters worked to contain the Caldor Fire burning in California as the blaze reached 139,510 acres, officials said on August 26. Over 3,078 crew members were assigned to the wildfire, with 21 helicopters and 244 engines deployed.
