Early Snow Blankets Southern Manitoba

Overnight snowfall blanketed parts of Manitoba, Canada, in white on October 10 as forecasters warned of snow and strong winds that would last until Monday, October 14. In a video uploaded by Instagram user @travelsofricahelaine, snow can be seen falling on still-green-leaved trees in Morden, a town in southern Manitoba. The weather service Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) said a major fall storm was moving through southern Manitoba. “Heavy snow and blowing snow will affect highway travel. You may need to reconsider your travel plans,” it said. Credit: travelsofricahelaine via Storyful
