Framingham Callahan Center Closed Tuesday After Pipe Burst
FRAMINGHAM, MA — The extreme cold over the weekend in Massachusetts continues to impact local communities, including Framingham.
City officials announced the Callahan Center will be closed to the public on Tuesday, with all programs canceled.
"The fire suppression system sustained damage during the extreme cold weather on Sunday morning," officials said.
"The City’s outside vendor has not been able to complete the repairs."
Officials will provide an update about when the center will reopen to the public as soon as that information is available to update, said Chief Operating Officer Michael Tusino.
Staff are available by phone at 508-532-5980 and by email to respond to any questions or concerns, officials said.
