Seawater Floods Bus as Storm Brendan Moves Across UK and Ireland

Storm Brendan brought heavy rain and strong winds to Northern Ireland on Monday, January 13, causing one bus in Warrenpoint, County Down, to become flooded with seawater. The Met Office issued a yellow wind warning across Northern Ireland, warning that travel disruption was likely. Authorities reported widespread power outages, saying that they were “working to restore supplies as quickly and safely as possible.” Storm Brendan was projected to cross over Ireland and make landfall on the west coast of Great Britain by Monday evening.
