Wednesday evening’s storm doused much of Massachusetts and left close to 3 inches of rain in some areas, officials said.

In Concord, 2.9 inches of rain fell in 75 minutes, according to the National Weather Service.

Downed trees in Bedford caused some road closures.

Flooded streets could be seen in Waltham.
