A Walmart parking lot in Cedar City, Utah, was submerged in floodwater on July 26, after a powerful storm struck the area. The mayor of Cedar City, Maile Wilson-Edwards, declared a state of emergency, describing the damage caused to “public and private property” as “extensive.” The Cedar City Facebook page announced it had run out of sandbags just after 3 pm.
