Deer Take Sunrise Sprint on Santa Rosa Beach

Florida resident James Artz is a beach attendant at the Watercolor Inn at Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. On April 16, he was on the beach earlier than most and was rewarded with an enchanting sight: three deer taking a run along the sand. The deer dashed past Artz and proceeded into the distance. Artz told Storyful, “I think they hide in the dunes during the day and come out at night and early morning. We always see deer hooves out there in the morning but rarely actually see them.” Credit: James Artz via Storyful
