WikiLeaks founder Assange indicted under US Espionage Act, faces up to 170 years in prison

Julian Assange the founder of WikiLeaks was indicted by the US on 17 new counts of violating the Espionage Act on May 23, 2019. Prosecutors said Assange worked with former US soldier Chelsea Manning to obtain and publish classified national defence files in 2010.
