
Pine nut picker carried off by hydrogen balloon rescued after 2 days in the wild in China
A man in China’s northeastern province of Heilongjiang has survived a dangerous ordeal after he was carried off by an illegal hydrogen balloon he was using to pick pine nuts. The picker was rescued on September 4, 2022, after he lost control of the balloon and drifted for eight hours before he was injured in a rough landing and left stranded in the wild for another 40 hours.
