James Woods v Armie Hammer and Amber Tamblyn

On Sept. 11, 2017,  James Woods made a critical tweet on Armie Hammer's upcoming movie "Call Me by Your Name," where he plays a graduate student who shares an intimate relationship with the teenage son of his professor. Woods tweeted, "As they quietly chip away the last barriers of decency. #NAMBLA" The hashtag refers to the North American Man/Boy Love Association, a pedophile and pederasty advocacy organization. Hammer tweeted back, "Didn't you date a 19 year old when you were 60.......?" referring to Woods' former partner Ashley Madison, who was 19 when they started dating in 2007. Actress Amber Tamblyn joined with her tweet, "James Woods tried to pick me and my friend up at a restaurant once. He wanted to take us to Vegas. "I'm 16" I said. "Even better" he said." Woods then responded, "The first is illegal. The second is a lie," and minutes later posted this: "Somebody told me the libs are yelping. Troll traffic is up. I don't pay any attention really. I like Armie Hammer as an actor though. A lot."
