This is why Princess Diana always posed in the same way

© Provided by Associated News She was one of the most photographed women in the world, and a former Royal secretary has revealed why Princess Diana always struck the same pose.

Despite coming across extremely natural on camera, there was method to her magic, with the Princess developing a signature look which would hide her ‘sharp’ features, including her ‘big’ nose.

Ensuring she always looking picture perfect, Diana learned the best ways to work the camera when the paparazzi approached under the tutelage of her former media manager Dickie Arbiter.

Pic: Rex © Provided by Evoke.ie Pic: Rex Speaking in a new Quest Red documentary, ‘Diana and the Paparazzi’, Arbiter explains that she was always careful to look down first, before raising her head to one side, keeping her chin lowered and revealing a coy smile.

According to the Mail Online, Arbiter said, ‘Diana wasn’t pretty, she was attractive. You had to get her at the right angle because she had a bit of a big nose.’

He added, ‘Diana was very aware of that, she knew her best angle and she would make sure she would be in the best possible position for them.’

Arbiter, who worked at the Queen’s press secretary between 1988-2000 admitted that he believed Diana was as fascinated by the paparazzi as they were by her.

The Quest Red documentary airs on August 13th at 10pm as part of the 20th anniversary of her death.
