EFF calls on Ramaphosa to intervene on SABC crisis

JOHANNESBURG – The Economic Freedom Fighters says President Cyril Ramphosa and his government must give the SABC the guaranteed it needs to raise meaningful money in order to stabilize.

The SABC Board no longer has a quorum, after a fourth member has resigned. 

Renowned journalist and editor Mathatha Tsedu joins Khanyisile Kweyama, John Mattison and Krish Naidoo who resigned earlier this week.

The EFF has called on Ramaphosa to intervene in the SABC board crisis and exodus of members.

The EFF says board members have been set up to fail and have blamed the ANC on collapsing the board so that an interim board can be set up which they can control.
