State capture does not exist, says Zuma

JOHANNESBURG - Former president Jacob Zuma is insisting State Capture doesn’t exist and that the term is not being used correctly.

He was delivering the keynote address at a Sasco event at the Walter Sisulu University.

“I get worried if at the level of South Africa there are things that we can distort, is parliament captured? is the executive captured?  so where is the State Capture?”, Zuma asked.

The hearings of a judicial commission of inquiry into state capture, corruption and fraud in the public sector is underway.

Judge Raymond Zondo is leading the probe.
