Guardiola's Bayern hold minute's silence for Tito

Bayern Munich today paid homage to Tito Vilanova before their Bundesliga tie against Werder Bremen with a minute's silence, in addition to black armbands during the game. "Bayern, in mourning for Tito Vilanova", was put up on the big screens at the Allianz Arena. 

Pep Guardiola's side released a statement, written in German and Catalan, in which the president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, in name of the German institute, expressed his grief at the passing of the former Barcelona coach.

There was also reference to the relationship that was "more than working" between Vilanova and Guardiola. "The sorrow and condolences of FC Bayern Munich are today with the family of Tito Vilanova and FC Barcelona".
