Luis Enrique praised Sevilla, who left the Camp Nou with nothing to show for their efforts but who had given his side more of a battle than any other team in La Liga: "They are, perhaps, the side that have given us most problems and are certainly the best team to have come to Camp Nou this season so I am very pleased with the result, you have to be able to suffer in these games and we showed that we are capable of doing that." The Barcelona manager thinks that Unai Emery's team are very well set up and do not get tired because they are in great physical shape: "They made us work really hard, but with these three points we are in an unbeatable position to retain our league title."

The manager preferred not to go into much depth when asked about Zinedine Zidane's comments after losing the derby to Atlético de Madrid: "I don't know whether to believe what Zidane said about the league being lost or not, but I do know that we have a clear objective and that we are on the road to achieving it."

Asked about the 34-game unbeaten record of Real Madrid's that Barça have now equalled, Enrique did not give it much importance: "It will mean something if in the end it helps us to win silverware."

To end off the press conference, in which he was a little hoarser than usual, the Barcelona coach emphasised the importance of each and every member of the squad: "Here it's not about first-choice players and substitutes. There are some players who play more than others, but everybody takes part. We are a squad."
