The objective of the Fund's investment activity is to earn as high a return as possible on the invested assets in the fixed-income, currency, and raw materials markets over the medium term via active fund management. The assets of the Fund are invested globally primarily in fixed-income instruments and currencies. Investments may also be made in equity-linked and raw material-linked instruments such as convertible bonds and ETFs. Investments may be made in both government bonds and corporate bonds as well as money market instruments, and a significant share of the investments may be in the emerging markets. The Fund may use derivatives to hedge against currency risk or to take a stance on currency developments. Fixed-income derivatives may be used in various manners to take a stance on various fixed-income markets.
