Brauhausgasse 6, A - 9500, Villach, Austria

Austria’s southernmost brewery was founded in 1858. It began as a strictly regional brewery, but has become a national one in the last 25 years and has even developed an export market in Italy. The beers are branded as Villacher, though the brewery’s official name is Vereinigte Kärntner Brauereien. It now owns Schleppe (a specialty brewer) and Piestinger near Vienna.
