4, Rue de la Brasserie, B5530, Purnode-Yvoir, Belgium

One of the few breweries in the Namur province, Du Bocq is actually one of the larger Belgian regionals, not least because of the commission brewing side of the business. However, a few of Du Bocq’s own brews are well known nationally, including the Gauloise range, the Saison Regal, and their witbier.

La Gauloise Ambrée

beer style: Spéciale Belge
alcohol content: 5.5% ABV

Liquorice and citrus peel flavors, along with the hops, clearly reveal the beer’s Walloon character.

Corsendonck Agnus

beer style: Abbey Triple
alcohol content: 7.5% ABV

Citrussy and hoppy nose; initial grainy flavor, with a flowery and citrus finish.
