Established in 1992, the Hog’s Back brewhouse takes up part of an 18th-century farm. Steady expansion, extensions to storage facilities, and re-equipping the fermenting room have continued since, and many awards have been gathered along the way.

Brewery secrets

“Late hops” are added at the end of the boil, contributing additional fragrance to the beer.

Traditional English Ale / Tea

Well-crafted, with delicate, fruity aromas, some bittersweet malt flavoring, and a long, dry finish.

Hog’s Back Bitter
