Gempa Bumi 7,2 SR di Papua Nugini

A magnitude 7.2 earthquake hit Papua New Guinea on Tuesday, May 7, the US Geological Survey said. The quake hit at a depth of 127 km, 33 km northwest of Bulolo, and shook parts of the city of Lae, which is the capital of the Morobe province. Reports indicated the quake was felt in the nation’s capital Port Moresby, and Australia’s Bureau of Meteorology said it was felt in Far North Queensland. This video, shot by Christopher Lam, shows shaking at a home in Lae. “This was a big one that lasted for a bit in Lae. I only caught the tail end of it on film but it was big. You can hear it. Got stuff thrown around in the house and the power is now cut off,” he wrote on Twitter. Credit: Christopher Lam via Storyful
