3 men indicted in teen’s death at an Arlington McDonald’s

UPDATE: 9:51 a.m. 5/10/2021:

Anterion Springfield, 18, Montre Jeter, 20, and Delmarc Hollingsworth, 27, have all been indicted in the murder of Anthony Grayson, 19, who was shot and killed at an Arlington McDonald’s last year.

The killing stemmed from a shootout during a drug deal, according to the Shelby County District Attorney’s office.

The defendants had arranged to buy marijuana from two other people, officials said.

Three others were wounded in the shooting.


The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest in the death of a teenager.

Anthony Grayson, 19-years-old, was shot and killed at a McDonald’s in Arlington on December 7, 2020.

SCSO arrested three men who are now charged with numerous felonies.

According to SCSO, Anterion Springfield, 18-years-old, Montre Jeter, 20-year-old, and Delmarc Hollingsworth 27-year-old, are in custody.

They are all charged with Second Degree Murder, Reckless Endangerment with a Deadly Weapon, Employing a Firearm with Intent to Commit a Felony, and Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Manufacture/Deliver/Sell.

Additionally, Hollingsworth is charged with Tampering with Evidence.

During the shooting, another victim was shot and sent to the hospital in critical condition.
