After Meghan's stunning dress and that romantic first kiss, one of the big talking points from Prince Harry's wedding was the adorable little page boy who stole the show with his excited facial expressions.

Brian Mulroney and his twin brother John, the children of Meghan's best friend Jessica, were two of the couple's four page boys on their big day.

The brothers had the important job of carrying the bride's five-metre long veil up the steps of St George's Chapel.

But when they stopped at the top, as Meghan prepared to walk down the first part of the aisle alone, Brian's face was an absolute picture.

Now his dad Ben, the son of former Canadian prime minster Brian Mulroney, has explained exactly what happened to make the seven-year-old so excited - and it's all to do with a trumpet.

"I think when he walked in, he saw all the people there, and the flowers, none of that was there during the rehearsal."

Their sister Ivy, four, was a bridesmaid, along with Princess Charlotte, Florence van Cutsem, three, Remi and Rylan Litt, aged six and seven.

The youngest bridesmaid was two-year-old Zalie Warren.

Harry and Meghan have postponed their honeymoon to get going with royal duties, and attended their first official engagement as a married couple on Tuesday.
