Joss Whedon Quits As Batgirl Director

Joss Whedon has quit as the director and writer of 'Batgirl'. The 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' director has confirmed he has departed the movie because he "really didn't have a story", but thanked DC president Geoff Johns and Warner Bros. Picture Group president Toby Emmerich for their help with the project. He said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter: "Batgirl is such an exciting project, and Warners/DC such collaborative and supportive partners, that it took me months to realise I really didn't have a story.
