Kangana Ranaut: No National award for 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' will create doubt

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who was last seen in 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi', said that if she will not receive a National award for her portrayal of Rani Lakshmibai, then it will lead questions to their crediblity. Kangana has earlier won the National award for 'fashion', 'Queen' and 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns'. Talking about last year’s performances and her expectations in future she added, 'Last year Tabu-ji was amazing ‘AndhaDhun’. I am floored by what she has done in the film. But in the coming months if there is a better performance than ‘Manikarnika’, I will definitely appreciate that but I don't think it will happen.' Kangana will be next seen in ‘Mental Hai Kya’ along with Rajkummar Rao.
