“Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” Reunion Gets Release Date & New Trailer
The long-awaited “Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air” reunion is finally upon us, and it’s closer than you think, as we finally get a new trailer of what to expect and a release date of when to expect it.
The sitcom’s star Will Smith took to social media to share the trailer for the upcoming unscripted reunion as it brings back almost all of the original cast of the show, as they look back and reminisce about the good old days and the moments they shared together on screen.
Smith took to Instagram to share the trailer and release date with a post captioned, “These are the people who made me the man I am today. And I couldn’t let this day go by without marking the occasion. @freshprince reunion... Nov 19.”
The trailer begins with Smith talking to the camera, stating that fans are “not ready” for the trailer, wishing them a happy Thanksgiving before going into what to expect, then cutting to a scene copying Smith’s arrival to the house and reunited with the rest of the cast.
While Joseph Marcell (Geoffrey Butler), Daphne Maxwell Reid (Vivian Banks), Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton Banks), DJ Jazzy Jeff (Jazz), and Will Smith (Will) are all back together as it looks like the majority of the reunion will be the cast recounting their days on the show, and how it felt like performing in front of a live audience at the time.
They will take a moment to remember the late James Avery (Uncle Phil) who passed away in 2013, and will even bring back actress Janet Hubert who originally played Aunt Viv in the first three seasons before Maxwell Reid took over.
