Permanent teams at border crossings in Kasserine as part of preventive measures against coronavirus

(TAP) - Permanent health control teams have been set up at the border crossings of Hydra and Bouchebka (Kasserine governorate), said Regional Health Director Abdelghani Chaabani.

"This is part of reinforcing the preventive measures against the coronavirus," he told TAP correspondent during a visit with representatives of the Public Health Ministry at the border crossing of Bouchebka in the Feriana delegation.

The Standing Committee on the Monitoring of the Spread of coronavirus had decided at a meeting on Tuesday to step up vigilance and preventive measures at border posts, airports and seaports to ensure better prevention against coronavirus.

The committee had decided in particular to reinforce the human and material capacities deployed as part of the national strategy of prevention against coronavirus in Tunisia.
