The missile units of the army targeted a base of the terrorists in the town of al-Latamina in Northern Hama, inflicting major losses on the militants.

Meantime, the Syrian army continued its military advances in other parts of Syria over the past 24 hours.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in provinces across Syria.

Hama

The Syrian Army's missile units pounded a main base of the terrorists in Northern Hama after the latter, deployed in the demilitarized zone, opened fire at the government forces on Friday.

The army's missile units targeted a base of the terrorists in the town of al-Latamina in Northern Hama, inflicting major losses on the militants.

In the meantime, the army men engaged in fierce clashes with Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at (the Levant Liberation Board or the Al-Nusra Front) near the small town of Karnaz in Northwestern Hama, and repelled their attack, killing a number of them and destroying their military hardware.

The terrorists retreated from the battlefield after the failed attack.

The terrorists' refusal to implement the Sochi Agreement to establish a demilitarized zone is pushing the army to initiate its long-waited assault on militants in Idlib that had been put on hold due to the Sochi Agreement.

Idlib

The Syrian Army sent a large number of reinforcements to Hama and Idlib provinces, in response to the latest hostilities from the militants.

According to a military source in the nearby city of Mhardeh, the army sent the entire 5th Legion to Northern Hama and Southern Idlib after completing their mission in Toloul al-Safa region of Southern Syria, the AMN reported.

The source said that the 5th Legion received orders on Tuesday to pack up their gear and head North to Hama because the situation along the Idlib demilitarized zone is deteriorating.

The 5th Legion was one of the major forces behind the Syrian Army’s successful operation against ISIL terrorist organization in al-Safa region.

The Syrian Army rained several missiles on the terrorists' positions in Southern Idlib, inflicting major losses on them, a new military report said on Friday.

According to the report, the Syrian army fired several surface-to-surface missiles towards Tahrir Al-Sham Hay’at bases and trenches near Hama-Idlib highway, massdar news reported.

The report added that the army and their allies from the National Defense Forces (NDF) also targeted militants' gathering points in the Idlib demilitarized zone.

The missile attacks by the army have become more prevalent since the Sochi agreement was established on September 17th.

The reason for the increase in the attacks is due to the fact the jihadist rebels have refused to leave Idlib demilitarized zone.

Aleppo

The Turkish Army's chemical-biological weapons experts are in regions in Northern Syria where Tahrir al-Sham Hay'at recently launched chemical attack on Aleppo city's Northwestern neighborhoods, local sources reported on Friday.

The sources said that Turkey is trying hard to clean up the area's soil and buildings from any poisonous gas residuals before the arrival of a delegation from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in the region.

Last week, the Al-Nusra terrorists launched a gas attack on Northwestern neighborhoods of Aleppo city, poisoning 107 civilians.

In the meantime, sources close to the militant groups said the recent gas attack on Aleppo by Tahrir Al-Sham Hayat indicates that Turkey cannot at all control the terrorist group.
