Tunisia abides by Saudi decision to "temporarily" suspend entry for Umrah pilgrimage

(TAP)- Tunisia abides by Saudi Arabia's decision to "temporarily" suspend entry for Umrah pilgrimage as of February 26 in a bid to prevent coronavirus spreading, said Assistant Director of Hajj and Umrah at the Religious Affairs Ministry Samir Ben Nassib.

Ben Nassib told TAP flights to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were suspended under this "temporary" decision. Return flights are scheduled for Tunisian pilgrims in the kingdom.

These procedures are "temporary" and are subject to continuous assessment by the competent Saudi authorities.
