AFL grand final acts revealed: Black Eyed Peas, Jimmy Barnes

The AFL has announced that the Black Eyed Peas and Jimmy Barnes will provide the entertainment for this year’s grand final.

The massive American act will perform pre-game while the Australian rock icon will perform the post-match free concert with special guest Diesel.

Barnes’ daughter Mahalia will sing the national anthem prior to the first bounce.

The booking of the Black Eyed Peas continues the AFL’s golden run of hiring huge musical acts for their biggest day with The Killers performing last year, Sting in 2016, Chris Isaak and Bryan Adams in 2015 and Tom Jones and Ed Sheeran in 2014.

"We are honoured to be heading to Melbourne to perform at the AFL Grand Final day," The Black Eyed Peas said.

"This is the biggest day in Australian sport, so we will be pulling out all the stops for this special performance."
