Emma Corrin, star of Netflix hit series The Crown, has shared photos discussing chest binding, and alluded to identifying as non-binary.

The 25-year-old actor shared images from a photo shoot with photographer David-Simon Dayan to Instagram, captioned: "Some time before I bought my first proper binder," alongside a photo with a boxing wrap wound around their chest.

They wrote: "It's all a journey right. Lots of twists and turns and change and that's ok! Embrace it."

Corrin also tagged two binder manufacturers in the post, hazarding caution to those looking to engage in chest binding.

"Bind safely, find what works for you," they wrote.

Chest binding is the act of binding down the breasts to appear flat-chested.

Binding can result in skin irritation, difficulty breathing and cracked ribs when done using unsafe methods.

The British actor was believed to have shared a change to their pronouns in their bio, identifying as "she/they" but it has since been removed from Corrin's profile.

Corrin also shared a photo in April calling themselves a "queer bride".

Corrin as Diana, Princess of Wales

Corrin won a Golden Globe for their role as Princess Diana in season four of Netflix series The Crown in 2021.

Prior to being cast in the role, Corrin was relatively unknown, having only a handful of credits to their name after studying at Cambridge University.
