Plane crashes in Western Australia’s Fitzgerald River National Park
A Boeing 737 firefighting tanker has crashed in a National Park while fighting a bushfire in Western Australia. The modified passenger jet was making for a second approach to drop fire retardant over an out of control bushfire in the Fitzgerald River Nation Park 460 kilometres southeast of Perth when it crashed. The two pilots survived with minor injuries.
