Reserve Bank to remove face of monarch on new look bill
King Charles will not feature on Australia’s next five-dollar bank note, following a decision by the reserve bank. The portrait of Queen Elizabeth the Second first appeared on the five-dollar polymer note in July 1992. Treasurer Jim Chalmers says the new design will better reflect the country's culture and history.
