Acclaimed stage play explores trauma and discrimination
After a successful season in Western Australia the play 'city of gold' has opened at the Sydney Theatre Company. It follows the character Breythe who's trying to build an acting career on the East Coast when he's called back to Kalgoorlie in WA to mourn his father's tragic death. There he discovers a family reeling in pain and anger and a home he feels increasingly estranged from.
