Assisted dying now legal for those with incurable illness
Laws legalising voluntary assisted dying passed the state's parliament in 2021, after 16 failed attempts over 26 years. Attorney General Kyam Maher, who introduced the legislation while in opposition, says he's glad people will now have more options.
