I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is almost here and set to welcome an array of celebrities from London to Los Angeles into its leafy, bush tucker trial midst.

Among the list of contestants rumoured to be taking part in this year's show, there's been a lot of talk about former athlete and reality star Caitlyn Jenner joining the cast.

While there has been no official confirmation that Jenner will be participating in this year's series, inside sources have revealed how much she is supposedly being paid. (Hint: It's over 17 times the average yearly UK salary).

Over the weekend, the 70-year-old star was spotted touching down in Australia amid talks that her not so secret past in the jungle might prove her better equipped for life of witchetty grub than her competitors.

Here's everything you need to know about Caitlyn Jenner in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

Caitlyn Jenner has been seen in Australia

Jenner is reportedly one of the first stars to have landed Down Under. She was photographed hauling her luggage through Brisbane airport a week before the show is scheduled to commence on Sunday 17 November.

Though ITV are yet to announce her involvement in the show, the reality star's luggage looked particularly lighter than one would expect for a relation of Kylie and Kendall.

Could this be the biggest telltale sign of all?

The Express reports that Jenner stopped for photos with fans at the airport, while others have expressed concern that the star might not be fully aware of what's in store of her.

One Twitter user wrote: 'I had a feeling that #CaitlynJenner might not know what, I'm a celebrity get me out of here is all about. She's in for one hell of a shock.'

Caitlyn Jenner has been in the jungle before

Despite claiming to The Sun that she has 'no idea' how the show works, Jenner is actually the most experienced contestant in this year's line up, which includes Capital FM’s Roman Kemp, EastEnders actor Jacqueline Jossa and Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle.

The septuagenarian was on the American version of the show in 2003 back when she was formerly known as Bruce Jenner. In April 2015, the retired athlete publicly came out as a transgender woman during an interview with ABC journalist Diane Sawyer.

In the first season of the US show, Jenner made it to the final week and was seen taking part in bush tucker trials and even winning a particularly messy chicken feather challenge.

Caitlyn Jenner is one of ITV's highest-paid contestants

According to The Sun, Jenner has reportedly been paid £500,000 (AUD$94,000) to sign up to the show, with an ITV source revealing: 'They’ve asked her every year for a long time, but she finally felt the time was right.'

Producers and fans alike will no doubt be waiting with baited breathe for any Kardashian/Jenner inside gossip to be revealed.

There are fears I'm A Celebrity may be cancelled

The Mirror reports that at least three people have died and thousands have been displaced by a weekend of bushfires in Australia. As a result I'm A Celebrity show bosses are reportedly on red alert and 'closely monitoring' if they need to evacuate the jungle site in the coming days.

On Sunday - which marked the third day of the fire emergency - more than 100 blazes were continuing to burn across New South Wales and Queensland.
