Greens call on ACT government to end $40m public funding of horse racing industry
The Greens have called for the ACT government to end its public funding of the racing industry saying there are more pressing needs in the community. The Canberra racing club says that would result in hundreds of job losses in the act, while it has also highlighted the money the government makes from the racing industry.
