Koala population expected to flourish in NSW’s Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains is expected to become one of the most important koala colonies in the country, as the effects of climate continue to increase. The species was listed as endangered by the Commonwealth government last year, but in the mountains west of Sydney, their population is on the rise.
